Lions of Sands as of November 2025: In the North, the Ndzhenga males have finally brought stability to the Nkuhuma pride, who’ve been without any dominant males since 2023, when the Avoca males were still around. Since the takeover, the Ndzhengas have sired a few cubs with the Nkuhumas, solidifying a stable future for the pride. The Kambula males were also around northern Sabi Sand, after the Mantimahle males and the Imbali pride, the 2 old Mantimahles wisely decided to move away with their pride to avoid conflict. The Kambulas however, have been stopped in their tracks as one of the members has unfortunately died of anthrax. With the Ndzhengas absent central Sabi Sand has new rulers, the strong Gijima males, who have been asserting their dominance over the Kambula pride, killing multiple subadults, we can only hope that the rest of the youngsters stay away from danger.
